Healthy Hounds Fitness Club is a membership-based canine fitness company serving Boulder, Westminster, Arvada, Broomfield, Louisville, and Superior. Every session is one dog (or one household) with one Fear Free certified Coach. No pack walks, no shared attention, no rotating strangers.

The company exists because Colorado dogs deserve better than the gap between weekend adventures and weekday inactivity. Hiking at elevation, navigating technical terrain, and joining runs on Front Range trails all demand a base level of conditioning. Without structured weekday exercise, dogs face preventable strain, joint issues, and early-week exhaustion that compounds over time.

HHFC’s structured programming builds strength, endurance, and joint stability gradually so dogs show up to weekend adventures prepared, not recovering from them.

The Team Behind It

Dog and woman enjoying outdoor fitness, dog walking in nature, healthy hounds, Boulder dog care.

Nicole Packin, Founder and Head Coach

Nicole has spent more than 20 years building and running pet care companies. Her career started in Hollywood, working in television development at William Morris Endeavor, Spelling Television, and Jerry Bruckheimer Television. A volunteer shift at the Amanda Foundation in Los Angeles changed the trajectory: she left entertainment, joined the Humane Society of Greater Miami, and helped lead the capital campaign for the Soffer-Fine Adoption Center.

In 2007, she founded Miami Pet Concierge, which grew into one of South Florida’s most recognized in-home pet care companies over 18 years. She built a team of 35+ employees, developed proprietary training systems, and earned recognition as a PSI Pet Sitter of the Year Top 5 Finalist in both 2024 and 2025. She sold Miami Pet Concierge in December 2024.

Her second company, The Packin Method, was a holistic canine fitness business and mobile dog gym in Dallas. She sold it before relocating to Colorado and launching Healthy Hounds Fitness Club in March 2026.

Nicole holds a Master’s Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington, is a Certified Small Animal Massage Practitioner from the Northwest School of Animal Massage, and holds advanced certifications in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Stress Point Therapy. She is also Certified Fear Free Professional, a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through PSI, and certified in Canine Aquatic Therapy.

She is currently the only team member certified to provide canine massage services.

She holds a Graphic Design degree from Instituto Universitario Monsenor de Talavera, specializing in audiovisual design. Born and raised in Caracas and now based in Santiago.

What Makes This Different

Every HHFC Coach is a W-2 employee, background-checked, certified in Pet CPR and First Aid through ProPetHero, and Fear Free Certified. The team is trained in canine behavior and movement, not just “walking dogs.”

The membership model exists for a reason: consistency produces results. Minimum session frequencies (two walks per week, one hike per week) aren’t arbitrary limits. They’re the minimum effective dose for building and maintaining the conditioning that keeps dogs safe on weekend adventures.

Every session is tracked through Time to Pet, which gives you GPS tracking, photos, progress updates, and scheduling in one place.

HHFC is licensed, bonded, and insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. Nicole is a member of Pet Sitters International, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, and the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork.
